Headteacher - Michael Fordham
Dr Fordham was appointed to be the founding headteacher of Alconbury Weald Church Academy in 2026. He is an experienced school leader having previous served as a headteacher and deputy headteacher in Norfolk, and an assistant headteacher in London. Dr Fordham is a history teacher with a particular interest in medieval history. He read history at Fitzwilliam College Cambridge and later completed a PhD at the university's Faculty of Education. When not teaching, Dr Fordham can be found climbing mountains, doing woodwork and giving tours of Ely Cathedral.
