My Child at School
Alconbury Weald Church Academy used Bromcom which has a dedicate App called My Child At School (MCAS). On this app you will be able to access a range of information about your child.
Weekly Newsletter
You will receive a newsletter each week with key information about what has been happening in the school and what will be coming up in the weeks ahead. We shall endeavour to put all the information you need in that newsletter and reserve ad hoc emails for emergencies and last-
Reports
You will receive a report about your child's progress every term. We will endeavour wherever possible to write reports in a way that are meaningful to you and help you support what your child is learning in school. Every year children will sit a "GL Assessment" which is a standardised national test that helps us understand the progress your child has made and gives an indication of what range of grades they might expect when they come to sit their GCSEs.
Parents Evenings
We will offer a termly opportunity for you to come to school to hear about your child's progress and key information about upcoming milestones in their education. In Year 7, you will have a termly meeting with your child's form tutor who will be able to give you an update on their academic progress and how they are getting on in wider school life. We will also be offering short supportive workshops on everything from helping with homework through to managing device us at home!
